And he has a 5 year plan. What is it? Don't die?

My new and Revised 5 year plan

(Subject to change - not the laminated version!!)

Whilst arranging my room the other week I went off track and started reading my diary from 15 year old me.....

But amongst the cringe I found my plan of what I wanted to do with my left from the ages of 15-25. (Thankfully this list was not laminated!!!!)
This inspired me to look at what my actual plan is for the next few years.

During University my plan was to graduate - get a job - save money and then travel - then think about getting a real job (hoping that I had by then decided what I wanted to do)

But my year after University consisted of 'getting by' in regards to money. There was no saving.
Rent. Council Tax. An obscene water bill. Cocktails. Lots of nights out.

Now don't get me wrong - I wouldn't change that year for the world - I got to pretend that I was still in university - without the pesky exams and essays. But living in  place where I was so used to going out - I was never going to be able to save up enough money to travel the world.

So the plan needed revising.

What job can I do that will let me live in another country?!

This then led me to Switzerland...... which made me fall in love with the idea of actually living in another country where you don''t speak the language and things were different and exciting!
But ..... I was still in need of money!

This is where I started to think about things a bit more seriously...... I actually really enjoyed working with children - and teaching would mean that I could earn money whilst traveling.

So here I am. In Korea.
This has allowed me to do some traveling around Asia - (Japan and The Philippines so far.... with Taiwan coming up in September.....and then hopefully a big 3 week Asia tour in January).
But what nextttt?

Could be a plan.....

2014
Korea Year 2
Keep saving money and exploring Asia.
Try to visit 3 new countries - Malaysia / Singapore / Vietnam / Cambodia / Thailand are currently on my January wishlist.

2015
Teaching somewhere different in Asia (Japan / Taiwan are looking attractive to me atm)

2016
Teach again in Asia - either at the same place as the previous year or somewhere new (Why not)!
Start learning French again!!

2017
 Move back to Switzerland
(Hopefully have saved enough money to pay for my rent for at least a few months.)
Look at tutoring jobs - remake contacts within the teaching world. Volunteer within a school / schools. Spend the year improving my French!

2018
Hopefully have found a teaching job within Switzerland. And voila! (Then spend school holidays traveling ....)

Butttt knowing me this could very well change within the next month / year or even week....... but this is how I'm feeling right here.....right now!
