Camp - Week 2 of 3
This week marked the start of our first week of Camp at our own school.
We had 16 students from the 4th grade and our topic was 'Around the world'.
We made Egyptian Mummies, ate Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches and played Pin the tail on the donkey..... all in all a pretty fun week.
Well I had a good time anyway haha, and it made the week go nice and quickly - HOLIDAY COUNTDOWN IS ON!!
Dinner with the Schiltz Family and winning the Pub Quiz
Now that my volunteer work is over - I am free to do things again on a Wednesday evening.
April's family were visiting and her Dad, very kindly, took us all out for dinner...... <3
We then went to try our luck at the Pub Quiz - now usually I pretty much suck at quizzes - so I kept going on about how I was only entering to win the Random prize - where a team was picked out to win a 100k bar tab - my good luck pulled through and our team won!!
Free alcohol. Score.
Then...... the most shocking thing of all......we actually knew a lot of the answers from the quiz!! We were in second place.....
Then in the 3rd round we went down to 8th.... that's more like it!
Saturday
On Saturday, Alicia came to visit me with her kitty - Chingu. Chingu got to play in a new house - and we got to watch Celebrity Big Brother.
That evening - we then went out to Hotel Ariana - for both April's and Charles's Birthday.
28,000 won - All you can eat and drink...... and niceeee food!! And a band singing (I am still convinced that Ryan was the main singer) But yeah, so much for Pre Holiday diets.........
It was a good birthday night out celebration..... minus my tears from the sad speech.... but some tequila helped to cheer me back up.... of course.
Sunday
I woke up..... suprisingly very fresh..... no hangover at all.
However after spending a lot of money the night before.....I decided to stay in and just catch up on washing, packing my bag for The Philippines and just general house things.
Then the Swiss kiddies skyped me....... I still miss these guys a lot!!
The boy had been bought Minecraft.....yet he didn't know how to play it.....so I spent an hour learning how to play and teaching him what to do..... An AuPairs work is never done.....even when she doesn't live there haha!!

The girl then read me her latest English book....... then she showed me the teddy that she still has the teddy that I got her - then she looked at the camera - deadly serious and said 'I still remember our song' (She's like a 8 year old Taylor Swift or something....our song haha) - and then she started singing 'You are my sunshine' ....... so yeah, I got a bit 'homesick' - if that's the right word? Swiss-kid sick? I wonder if I can borrow a Korean child to read bedtime stories with,....... but I guess that's a bit creepy.
But I'm glad that they still remember the little things that we used to do...... because I think that's the thing that scares me the most ..... that they will just forget...... even if this does mean that they still remember how to wind me up.
The boy said 'I'm sleepy, me' - which used to be one of the phrases that I tried so hard to stop him saying it. He said it - then he burst out laughing and said 'just kidding'.

OH AND DID I MENTION....... I GO ON HOLIDAY NEXT WEEK...... YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH
