February Recap

I got super lazy about updating on here after coming back from vacation.....so here's what I got up to in Feb

Herb Hillz

We checked out Herb Hillz during the first long weekend - which is an 'Eco Theme Park'. As it was a long weekend  it was realllllly empty. However this meant that we could have a good look around. We acted like children on the Bumper Cars, looked around the mini zoo and took lots of pictures of all the weird statues.
Harry Potter.......
Herb Hillz was like Korea on acid - some of the statues were very scary haha - but this was probably due to how empty it was.
We went sledging, and at the bottom of the hill there was a nice padded....WALL to stop you....the Korean children slowed down and stopped before reaching the wall......however, probably due to us being that little bit heavier than Korean children - we kept launching up the wall and smack bang on the non padded part.

Even with our injuries.....it was really cool.....and I'm looking forward to going back in the Spring when I can do the tree climbing!

 Food

My coteacher cooked me a big batch of Bulgolgi...here's April and Grace trying it out!

The same coteacher who cooked me the food is unfortunately leaving......I will miss her very much, as she has been super helpful...and well....she cooks me food...so awesome.
So we went out to for a leaving party with just the English teachers!

In Korean schools - teachers change schools every four years, so we had a lot of teachers leaving - including our school chef....which I am gutted about - as we had the BEST school lunches!! But to say goodbye we got to go to a very nice buffet! Which of course included free beer and soju......annnnd karaoke!! Gotta love Korea!

Teaching

Since coming back from The Philippines, I haven't had any regular classes - so that has now been 1 month of not teaching. Some of the classes put on performances - so I sat and watched a couple of them. Some lucky people got to have unofficial vacation time, however I was at school for the full four weeks.
I think that I watched enough Pretty Little Liars to watch me a lifetime......! Haha!
I'm looking forward to getting back to teaching this week, as the week should go a lot faster......and I get school lunch again!

Reunion night

As we had all been on vacation at different times, we decided to all meet up now that everyone was back. This ended up with around 30 people in Courtneys apartment, Norebang, a pre club filled with topless Korean guys and then us ending up in Thursday Party 2....... it was great to see everyone again and catch up!

A show put on by some Koreans......

Snowboarding

I decided to go snowboarding one more time before the season ended - and I had a GREAT time - my first time down the slope was a complete nightmare - I felt like I had forgotten everything.....including how to stand up!! But a few more trips later and i felt much more confident and I even tried some of the more difficult slopes

Spring is here

The weather has finally started to warm up.....so I am trying to make the most of it.
I've signed up to do a 10km in April - so I have been running four times a week, and riding my bike whenever I have the chance. I plan on going on a couple of hikes sometime next month - so that should be fun :)

But yeah, that's pretty much my February!!
