One day working week, Film Fest Fail and Busan Love - Week 7

Friday off = Downtown Thursday night - Mexican Restaurant and Gogos - slept at Cat's and spent the next day exploring Daegu and doing a bit of shopping!

But to quote Roger...... 'Whenever I'm with you I feel like something is going to Fuck up'..... haha so standardly our Busan Film Fest trip did not go exactly to plan!

Friday night - I go out - slept at Cat's house....again (thanks <3 <3) I make it to the station to meet everyone.....only five mins late- and we make our very first trip to Busan.

We enjoyed the music that they played as we pulled into Busan.....also check out the size of the train.......

Now Busan is where I wanted to apply to.....but for our intake....we did not have the option to choose which city we wanted to be placed in. Now I know I am happy happy happy in Daegu....but I knew that this trip might make me jel......and yupppp it did!!

I am soooo much more a Busan girl than a Daegu girl......I loved everything about the feel of the place (even if we only did spend a short time there)...I loved the size, the space, the beach, the people, the smell, the sun, the rich people feeling that it had.......I miss pretending to be rich. But yeah, enough about my jealousy..... Daegu is cool too....and I'm like 50 mins away by train!!  But yeah after spending two years in Daegu....Busan might be the next move.

So yeah......the Film fest. Well we arrived in Busan, settled at our hostel....and started to look at what film we wanted to watch......and wellllllll........they had all sold out haha. Meh, that didn't stop us....so we went to check out the area!!

We -

-Went to the Largest Department store in the WORLD (and went ice skating in there <3)

- Checked out Haeundae Beach

- Drank in an Irish bar

- Went to 'Thursday Party' and a cocktail in a bag bar - somethings never change

-Ended in an 'Absolute Vodka' bar - which was advertising Smirnoff...... (apparently dancing on tables was not allowed in here) - we were given a plate of fruit though - which leaded to me drinking straight vodka with grapes in.....

-Walked on the red carpet and looked at the Film Fest areas

So even though our original plan was a slight fail.....I would def do it all again.....and I'm off to Busan another two times this month....so I can continue my long distance relationship with the place <3 <3
