Monday
So Monday came round and being at school got me out of my tiny burst of homesickness that I had.... I got to eat birthday cake and the kids had me cracking up with some of their answers in the 'May I have a fork' lesson that we had...hahaha.
Tuesday
PAYDAY!! I wake up super excited....check my bank balance....and it's at 0. FML. Not sure what I planned on buying on my way to school....but still! I then keep refreshing my bank alllll day and see that my pay eventually arrives around midday! Woooo....I have money!! It came to approx 1.54 mil after all the deductions....including - my security deposit of 300k which I get back at the end. I am still due my flight allowance of 1.3 mil (which will all be going home- back to my parents - thanks again for the loan!!) but that should be here soon.
So of course my first plan of action after school is to go to the bank....I withdraw some money.....and suddenly all I wanted to do was shop......like really ridiculous things....I saw a man selling pet turtles....and suddenly I have never wanted anything more (but I managed to restrain myself....I might buy a fish next month though..... I told myself that as soon as I can prove that I can feed myself without any help...for one month....I can consider buying a fish).
After telling myself that I 100% would NOT go to Homeplus (as I always buy things I don't need there).....I went to homeplus......but I was really good....and only bought some weighing scales (incase you're blind and haven't noticed.....I seem to be doubling in size...so I thought if I at least have scales then I can't kid myself) and a cake from Baskin and Robbins - great match....right?!?!?! Hahaha but the cake is for a little thank you to my coteachers who have helped me out so much this month....so it's not just for me.

I then went to the ghetto shop near my house (that I love as it has pretty much anything you can imagine...and even things you can't imagine haha) - and stock bought noodles, snacks, fabric softner and some O.J.....life's essentials haha!

Wednesday
As we got paid - me and Matt bought a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake to say 'Thanks' to our coteachers - who have been so awesome since we came here. So we got to start the day with ice cream cake :D
Wednesday is special lunch day....and it did not disappoint...YUM!
After work - the plan was to go for a meal - but after ice cream cake and seconds (maybe even thirds) on school lunch - we were all pretty full. So first stop = BOWLING. I started off pretty well (not like me ....I officially suck at Bowling) - but then everything went back to normal and I started sucking again.
We then went out for food and had a very nice spicy meal....the coteachers were impressed with our ability to handle spicy foods......after a battle of 'Rock, Paper Scissors' (that shit is like a law here, it's awesome.....why did we stop doing it when we were young?!' - we decide to go for a drink.
Drinking here generally involves ordering more food to snack on - so out come the muscles. We then start on the makoli and the drinking games come out! We play '3,6,9' - '007' - which was a new one for me and Matt haha. Then we played a game where we had to correctly pronounce everyones name - haha we had an unfair advantage with the coteachers name and they had an unfair advantage on our names - so it equaled itself out haha.
On the way home.....we find a Daiso in Chilgok!!! (The cheap store that I have been going down to Daegu to get to) - now I was a bit worried that in my tipsy state I would buy ridic things - but I was pretty well controlled and only bought things I needed - and some nail varnish.
Thursday
I had 6 lessons on Thursday - so no time to rest. But it meant that the day went super fast. And with kids as awesome as the video below....how can this even be work?! I went home.....had a nap (again - I feel like I'm back at uni) - overslept - had a shower - then I had to leave the house with wet hair as there was no time to dry it. Grrrr.
So Thursday night was 'Girls night' - the new girls of Chilgok met with the 'old' girls of Chilgok - and we went to eat at a Vietnamese restaurant - we got to make our own wraps - and drink sojo - so yeah it was good.
Some of us then continue for a drink - and ended up in what resembled a Gentlemens Club haha - we were MAJORLY stared at haah - and not just the - wow a group of foreigners stares - more like wtf are they doing here. The girl who greeted us is short shorts (even for Korea) - even gave us the same look. Drinks were really expensive for Korean standard so we left - I wanted to stay as it had pretty lights - but the majority won haha. So we headed to the reliable Beer Garten and had some soju cocktails then went home!!
